Dawn Chorus estate walk at Temple Newsam
Family Walk starting at the Stable Courtyard at 6am. Walk is approximately 4 miles. The route is through fields, woodlands, over stiles up steps etc. It is not disabled friendly but please ring for details as we will try to accommodate.
The walk is for families and beginners, but everyone is welcome. It focuses on using bird song to identify mostly woodland and parkland birds. Other wildlife is likely to be encountered en-route. Also, there will be a chance to observe the varied historic Temple Newsam landscape.
The walk finishes in the courtyard for an inclusive full English breakfast at 9am in the cafe. Breakfast is pre-ordered, and a variety of options are available to cater for differing requirements.
