Lindy Fridays
Lindy Fridays is a friendly and welcoming drop in lindy hop class open to complete beginners and those with more experience. Lindy hop is a social partner dance created by Black dancers during the Harlem Renaissance. Learn the unique steps and moves that make this dance so addictive.
Even though lindy hop is a partnered dance you don’t need to bring a partner. Learning to dance with many different people is part of the culture. We rotate partners throughout the classes and everyone changes partners frequently during the social dancing. It’s a great way to make new friends and get your steps in
It’s £5 on the door for the whole evening, which includes a beginners class, improvers class and time to socialise and dance.
Improvers: 7-8pm
Beginners: 8:10-9pm
Social Dancing: 9-9:40pm
