Pumpkin Sowing in the Walled Garden
Join us in the Walled Gardens at Temple Newsam to sow some pumpkin seeds.
You will pot two pumpkin seeds, one for you to take and grow at home, and one for the gardeners to grow on for you. We’ll look after it carefully and wait for you to return to us and collect or carve it at Halloween.
We’ll also be planting wildflowers to help get our butterfly-friendly meadows established, as part of the Wild Spaces Project.
Make a day of it and visit Temple Newsam Home Farm and Play Barn, with its new indoor adventure play facility. Check out our new born lambs in the farmyard and treat yourself in our café.
