Rooftop and Cellar Experience
The experience starts with and introduction to this stunning house and collections.
You will then go behind the scenes and descend to the depths! Venture below ground into the atmospheric cellars, where servants once bustled, and secrets linger in the shadows. Discover how these spaces were used over the centuries.
If the weather allows ascend to the rooftop. Climb to the top of the house for breathtaking views across the estate and Leeds skyline. Learn about the largest external inscription in Britain and view it from a unique angle. Take photos of the views or simply enjoy this exclusive experience. Once down from the roof enjoy refreshments in the Dining Room.
This behind-the-scenes tour offers a rare glimpse into areas not usually open to the public. Please note that access to the roof and cellars is via steep steps only. Please wear sensible shoes. If the weather is wet or windy it may not be possible to visit the roof for safety reasons. Includes choice of tea, coffee, soft drink and a cake. Includes general admission to the house before or after your experience.
