400 years of Historical Dancing
On 13th July 2026, Leeds marks an extraordinary milestone – 400 years since receiving its first Royal Charter from King Charles I.
We will be celebrating on Yorkshire Day showcasing dances from this era and actively encourage audience participation. All you need is comfortable shoes and enthusiasm!
This will be in the Art Gallery at Temple Newsam House. This event is included in the admission price to the house.
