Celebrating Nature & Mindfulness ~ Mindful Photo Walk Workshop ~ Roundhay Floral Stroll
Step away from the busyness of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature on this relaxing Mindful Photo Walk through the stunning floral displays of Roundhay Park.
This gentle guided experience combines mindfulness, photography, and nature connection, inviting you to slow down, observe the colours, textures, light, and seasonal beauty that often go unnoticed. Whether you are using a DSLR (Digital Single-Lens Reflex), compact camera, or simply your smartphone, this workshop is designed for all abilities—no photography experience is required.
Start and end at the car park off Princes Avenue, together we will explore some of the park’s most colourful gardens, including Victoria Gardens, the Roundel Beds, Mary’s Tree, and the picturesque Canal Gardens. Along the way you’ll be guided through simple mindfulness exercises and creative photography prompts to help you see the world with fresh eyes and capture meaningful images.
This is more than a photo walk—it’s an opportunity to: Reduce stress and reconnect with nature; Learn mindful photography techniques; Discover the beautiful floral displays of Roundhay Park; Meet like-minded people in a relaxed and welcoming environment; Finish with time to reflect, share your favourite photographs, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. The walk is at a gentle pace with regular stops for photography, mindfulness, and discussion.
Join us for an inspiring experience where every step is an opportunity to notice, reflect, and see Leeds through a fresh lens!
