Dead Plants Discovery Day Heritage Open Week – Special Saturday Opening
Join us for short tours of our collection store, with a focus on the Natural Science Collection and the work of the Dead Plant Society.
As part of Heritage Open Week, join us at Leeds Discovery Centre for an open day boasting botanical beauty.
Our Natural Science Curators will be sharing their vast knowledge of our collection during their tours, particularly our herbarium collection.
The Dead Plant Society is a project happening with Leeds Museums and Galleries and Space2 to research and expand our herbarium collection. Our volunteers from the project will be displaying their herbarium sheets and artwork from the project.
There’ll be some fun botany related crafts available too!
Sensory quiet space available.
