Joan As Police Woman: 20 Years Of Real Life Tour
Joan As Police Woman returns to the Howard Assembly Room to mark the 20th anniversary of her landmark debut album, Real Life.
Released in 2006, the record established Joan Wasser as a significant voice in the New York music scene, blending soulful vocals with sophisticated, jazz-inflected arrangements. For this exclusive trio tour, Wasser performs the debut album in its entirety alongside her band, revisiting the songs that formed the foundation of her solo career.
The set will also draw from her extensive catalogue of twelve albums, featuring a mix of reworked covers and career-spanning favourites that highlight her distinctive approach to songwriting and performance.
