Kate Pankhurst – Fantastically Great 10 Year Anniversary Celebration – Leeds Storytelling Festival
Join Kate Pankhurst for a wildly wonderful anniversary celebration of the amazing women who changed the world we live in. Kate is the author of the genre-defying, million-copy bestselling Fantastically Great Women series, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.
The Fantastically Great Women series has inspired a generation of readers to dream big, stand proud and speak out. Girls AND boys should join us to delve into the lives of the most inspiring and influential women of all time, including legendary artist Frida Kahlo, civil rights activist Rosa Parks, scientist Marie Curie, education activist Malala Yousafzai and superstar singer Taylor Swift! Discover how they changed the world and tell us how you will!
From 12noon ticket holders will be able to explore the Story Explorers Exhibition in Room 700 as well as meet and greet some of your Fantastically Great heroines, brought to life for this event.
Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
A PWYD family friendly event recommended for children aged 5+ years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
