Leeds Waterfront Walk
A self-guided, immersive, and fun tour of Leeds’ waterfront. Explore old and new Leeds, with information, history, and stories about people who lived and worked here. Plus, a quiz to enjoy along the way.
Explore the canal and riverside area of Leeds City Centre with this self-guided tour and quiz. On this tour, learn lots about Leeds, from information on the world’s first-ever commercial locomotive, to ghostly-happenings at haunted pubs.
People play an important role on the tour, so hear tales about great engineers, pioneering religious leaders, con artists and even a witch.
This tour is narrated by Leeds Beer Tours founder Mike Hampshire, with an optional quiz along the way to explore stops more closely. For those with a competitive streak, be sure to register for the tour’s leader board!
Along the way, stop for refreshments in pubs that feature on the tour, with some discounts available for tour ticket holders.
