Join us for a very special day of painting with renowned artist Richard Kitson!
Guest tutor Richard will guide our group as we paint, and through a series of demonstrations and tuition we will each build a painting of our life model.
One pose over the whole day.

You have the option to bring your own paints, pallets and canvas / oil painting paper – please let us know at the time of booking if you are bringing your own materials.
Materials List:
Oil paints you will need – Cadmium Red, Yellow Ochre, Titianium white, Raw Umber, Ultramarine Blue
All Attendees must provide their own brushes, rags and aprons

Please bring your lunch! We have a fridge that you can store your food and drinks.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day.
About your Tutor:
Richard Kitson is a figurative and portrait artist based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
His work has been featured in prestigious exhibitions, including the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery, London, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize, Figurative Art Now, and the Cork Street Open.
Kitson has exhibited across the UK and internationally and was a participant in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2018. His paintings are held in a variety of public and private collections, and he continues to offer portrait commissions and workshops in Barnsley and Yorkshire.
