Roots Presents: Bookends with HerOrangeCoat & El Frere
Roots presents an evening of live music with an open mic bookended by two of the loveliest Leeds musicians HerOrangeCoat and El Frere. Come along for a relaxed evening of soft, sweet folk music.
All are welcome to sign up for the Open Mic, just drop us a DM. Arm yourself with our house guitar, keyboard, or even with some of your own poetry. Limited spots are available, so get on it!
Hailing from West Yorkshire, indie-folk singer-songwriter HerOrangeCoat is a definitive example of the sum being greater than the parts. Armed with her ukulele, she crafts songs that turn melancholy into an enticing musical journey that demands to be heard.
El Frere is an indie-folk singer/songwriter based in Leeds. She draws inspiration from artists like Kate Bush, Lizzy McAlpine, and Alice Phoebe Lou.
