Yalla Parkour
In partnership with Leeds International Film Festival
Gaza’s parkour pioneers flip, vault and run for breath in a city ring-fenced by borders. This kinetic documentary follows teammates split between home and exile as they chase a simple dream: to move freely. Training on rooftops and rubble, they weigh risk, loyalty and the cost of leaving. Urgent, human, and full of motion, Yalla Parkour asks what freedom looks like when your world won’t let you jump.
Film director: Areeb Zuaiter / Countries: Sweden, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Palestine / Film length: 87 mins / Film date: 2024
