Northern Potters Association at The Sculpture Gallery
The Sculpture Gallery is very proud to present a fabulous new Group Exhibition featuring selected artists from the Northern Potters Association (NPA). Come and see these artists’ work – Ann Bates, Beverley Porter, Deiniol Williams, Dianne Cross, Gwenda Jones, Kate Buckley, Lisa Delarny, David William Sampson, Shirley Sheppard and Anne Haworth – at the usual First Thursday launch evening or throughout November.
This selection of potters and ceramicists display their various influences, some from the natural environment and some from the human form, both figurative and abstracted. Using different techniques and materials, their combined practice showcases a wealth of experience, including exhibiting, teaching, winning awards and exploring different cultures.
The aim of the NPA is to encourage and support artists in the production of sculptural, functional, fine art and decorative studio pottery in all its forms throughout the North of England.
