Cara Dillon
Northern Irish folk singer Cara Dillon returns to the Howard Assembly Room for her annual Christmas tour, ‘Upon A Winter’s Night’. Renowned for her clear, expressive voice and a deep connection to traditional music, Dillon has been a significant figure in the folk scene since her 2001 debut, which earned two BBC Folk Awards.
Accompanied by a band that blends Celtic rhythms with acoustic instrumentation, the performance features a selection of ancient carols alongside contemporary folk songs. The concert is a regular festive fixture, designed to capture the atmosphere of the season through a mix of traditional and original material drawn from across her nine studio albums.
In partnership with Hurricane Promotions.
