National Theatre Live: Les Liaisons Dangereuses
BAFTA-winning Lesley Manville (Phantom Thread) stars alongside Aidan Turner (Rivals) in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Christopher Hampton’s celebrated adaptation of the classic novel, directed by Marianne Elliott.
In the glittering salons of the super-rich, Marquise de Merteuil and Vicomte de Valmont turn seduction into strategy, weaponising desire. When their alliance collapses into rivalry, their battle threatens to destroy everyone in its path.
Filmed live at the National Theatre, this thrilling play explores love, lies, and the dangerous games of power and social ambition.
