Plant and Rant: Making herbarium sheets
One for plant lovers! Learn how to make your very own herbarium sheet, at a scientific collection standard, with our curators!
Join our Natural Science Curator and Assistant Curator of Plants for a tour of our collection store, and then make your own herbarium sheet to take away.
We’ll then get creative with our herbarium sheets, annotating them with thoughts, memories, poems, and drawings. Learn to make scientic standard herbarium sheets to display at home, or to start your own herbarium collection.
Create beautiful botanical illustrations while getting an up-close look at our historical herbarium sheet collection.
All materials are provided, with pre-pressed dried plants.
Bring your own drinks! This event is BYOB – you’re welcome to bring your own drinks for the evening. Like drink and draw – but drink and herbarium sheet!
Over 18s only.
