Harewood in Bloom
For the very first time, Harewood in Bloom will see the House transformed by breathtaking floral installations created with award-winning florist Leafy Couture. From the grand entrance steps to dramatic displays winding around the dining room table, this is Harewood as you’ve never seen it before.
Be inspired by the beauty of blooms with live demonstrations from Sarah at Leafy Couture, or book onto hands-on workshops including Blossoming Bouquets and Vibrant Vase Arranging. Get creative with bespoke experiences too, from botanical painting with Nay Bellamy to Paper Poppy making with Amanda from Lola Design.
Step outside and explore 140 acres of Gardens and Grounds at their springtime best. In May, the landscape bursts into life with colour and texture, from hawthorn blossom and elegant horse chestnut flowers to the remarkable pocket handkerchief tree. Woodland paths are carpeted with wild garlic and bluebells, while camassias and alliums bloom across the grounds. Around the Lakeside, rhododendrons flourish, and the Walled Garden orchard glows with delicate apple blossom. Join a guided tour or wander at your own pace along winding garden trails.
There’s plenty for families too, with a Top Ten Bloom Trail packed with floral discoveries, paper flower crown making, little gardeners’ seed planting, and joyful children’s painting workshops with artist Davinder Madaher.
Whether you’re a garden lover, creative maker or family looking for a memorable day out, Harewood in Bloom promises a joyful celebration of the season. Discover inspiring displays, hands-on experiences and the beauty of spring in full flourish across the House, Gardens and Grounds.
Harewood in Bloom is generously supported by the ASAMAA Charitable Trust.
