Cama Sood Hara
Come and meet Haresh Sood Films and Pancho the chocolate Labrador star of the film in this screening with a stand up intro. Haresh Sood Films will also announce more information on their film fund.
On Sunday, they will be both heading to Seven Arts in Chapel Allerton, in Leeds to impress audiences in the West Yorkshire Premiere with a special screening event of Cama Sood Hara, (the name which is a spin on an old Indian text).
Kiren Virdee of SAA-UK will also be present supporting the event.
The film deals with finding inner happiness outside of marriage and delves deep into unspoken topics within personal relationships, highlighting many taboo subjects. Throughout the tour, film critics have branded the film as ‘highly thought provoking & emotionally moving’, ‘very clever, hilarious & insightful’ and ‘simply a master-peice’.
For the first time, we hear from a male on subjects which have never been discussed in this ‘raw’ and honest’ film, which has attracted many family lawyers across the country who deal with matrimonial disputes.
Haresh boldly deals with the expectations his culture had for him as a British Indian male, coupled with mainstream societal expectations to be married. He openly challenges whether marriage is really the key to a happy life and explains why he chooses to remain unmarried and why he adopted a beautiful chocolate Labrador instead.
