Basis Yorkshire presents: 9 to 5
For Scalarama Leeds 2026, Basis Yorkshire invites you to watch this 1980s comedy classic, 9 to 5!
Icons Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlinson, and Dolly Parton star as three working women who become frustrated with their ‘sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot’ boss and plan to overthrow him to create a more women-friendly workplace.
This 1980s comedy classic led to one of Dolly Parton’s most beloved songs of the same name – sing-along highly encouraged!
All ticket sales go to Leeds-based charity, Basis Yorkshire, who work with sex workers, adults who have experienced sexual exploitation, and young people who have experienced sexual exploitation.
Limited tickets will be available on the door.
Doors – 7pm
Film starts – 7.30pm
