SOUNDBITES – Monthly Poetry Open Mic

Readings by a different local published poet each month. This month we’re delighted to welcome SUSAN E DARLINGTON.
Susan’s pamphlets include Traumatropic Heart (Selcouth Station Press, 2021), Never Wear White (Alien Buddha Press, 2022), and Lives Outgrown (Dancing Girl Press, 2026). Her poems have been widely published in Mslexia, Magma, Northern Gravy, and Pennine Platform, among others. She was guest co-editor of The Fig Tree’s Women’s Poetry Anthology (Crooked Spire Press, 2026). Her writing frequently blends nature and magic realism to explore women’s experiences, social transgressions, and the crossing of geographical and personal boundaries.
