The Wesley Centre – Harrogate

The Wesley Centre is a large Neo-Classical chapel, designed and built by Lockwood & Mawson in 1862 for a prosperous Victorian Methodist community. It is now a Grade II listed church building and a dominant landmark in Harrogate.

The building, which is situated in the town centre, engages with the local community in many ways by connecting with voluntary services, charities, businesses and other organisations. It’s open to town centre communities every day of the week.

The Wesley Centre is also a concert venue, hosting a much-loved concert series that draws artists with international reputations to the heart of Harrogate. Andrew Hitchen, a music-loving volunteer, puts this series together.

Should you need a space for hire in Harrogate, it’s well worth considering this Centre, which adapts to suit many needs – concerts, exhibitions, fairs, worship and public gatherings; a foyer for coffee mornings with a practical, modern kitchen.

The Wesley Centre – a place in the heart of Harrogate where you can feel welcomed, accepted, renewed and refreshed.
