Discover the wonders of Leeds’ very own open collection store during our open day. With curator tours, activities and workshops – get the whole family involved.
Enjoy an Easter exploration of Leed’s very own hidden gem as you step inside a treasure trove of history at Leeds Discovery Centre.
This school holiday, we’re opening our doors to invite families in Leeds for a day of behind-the-scenes exploration and hands-on activities. Come and discover the city’s fascinating history with us!
Book on to your speed-tour time slot with one of our curators – then get ready to design your own musem zines in our drop-in workshop (for adults and children!). There will be colouring sheets to do whilst you’re here, or take them home too!
Get closer to our collections, discuss our history with our curators and discover the treasures of our collection.
Tour times available between 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3.15pm.
Give What You Can, suggested donation £5. Booking essential.
Relaxed sessions: Please note the 3pm and 3.15pm tours are designed for SEND families to enjoy. The tours will be more relaxed with a lower capacity, and we’ll be joined by our SEND faciliator.
