Area Jeune Ballet | Double Bill
Featuring 18 talented young dancers, Area Jeune Ballet proudly presents two striking new works by Albanian choreographers Erion Kruja and Blenard Azizaj.
Delving into the universal experience of navigating the unknown, Erion Kruja’s The Weight of Uncertainty explores our yearning for stability, and the freedom to be found in accepting our lack of control.
Blenard Azizaj’s Walls explores complex emotions associated with the idea of barriers, often evoking fear, hatred, exclusion, and rejection. Questioning humanity’s decision to maintain physical divides, the work prompts a reflection on how people perceive what unfolds on the other side of the wall.
Running time: 50 mins
