Happy Daggers are an electrifying Leeds-based band that effortlessly fuse the infectious grooves of funk with the pulsating rhythms of Rock and Soul.
This five-piece have ignited stages across the UK, from Brudenell Social Club to BST Hyde Park, with explosive live performances and a captivating musical style. Combining funky guitar riffs, dynamic vocals, and a powerhouse rhythm section, Happy Daggers create a sonic tapestry that is both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. With influences ranging from classic funk acts like Earth, Wind & Fire and Parliament-Funkadelic to contemporary dance artists such as Daft Punk and Jamiroquai, their sound is a vibrant blend of retro vibes and contemporary energy.
In recent years, the band have been playlists by Spotify and supported by Craig Charles’ Funk and Soul Show, on 6 Music. Whether performing their own material or putting a unique spin on well-known tracks, Happy Daggers never fail to get audiences moving and grooving.
