Jon Taylor
Jon Taylor is the ultimate jazz entertainer: he plays saxophone, flute, accordion, harmonica and sings. He also tells great stories. Jon is an alumnus of the Leeds College of Music and a contemporary of Alan Barnes, Dave Newton and Snake Davis, and he has been one of the most popular figures on the northern jazz scene for over forty years. He plays an engaging range of material encompassing classic standards, funk, blues, latin and chill-out grooves. His mission statement is to keep the music interesting and stimulating and to create a little bit of joy. He will do that in spades at our Christmas Rush Hour gig! This is jazz with a smile on its face.
