An extraordinary afternoon of live classical music awaits at the Leeds Conservatoire Piano Competition Finals 2026 where the city’s most exciting young pianists take centre stage.
Join us on Sunday, April 19th 2026 at 2:30 PM in Besbrode Pianos’ intimate Steinway Showroom for a FREE, unmissable showcase of rising talent. After fierce competition, just three outstanding finalists remain, each ready to deliver a powerful 30-minute performance of virtuosic repertoire to include pieces by Chopin, Liszt and Ravel.
Watch as they compete for a £500 cash prize and the prestigious opportunity to perform their own solo recital at Seven Arts, Chapel Allerton.

About The Leeds Conservatoire Piano Competition
The Leeds Conservatoire Piano Competition is sponsored by Besbrode Pianos in Leeds. For the last eleven years, Besbrode Pianos has been a pivotal force in promoting Leeds’ upcoming piano talent to a wider audience. From intimate performances at their Steinway showroom to prizewinning solo piano performances at Seven Arts large, tiered-seating theatre, these artists are presented with formative experiences supporting their future careers at concert pianists.
About the Venue
Besbrode Pianos Steinway Showroom is situated in a Georgian Mill on the edge of Leeds city centre. The showroom is more than a retail space. This stunning red brick showroom has been an intimate venue over the last 20 years for a myriad of stand out performances including Alistair McGowan, The Leeds International Piano Competition Competitors, Mik Artistik, Li Can, The Lang Lang Scholars,Lol Coxhill and more.
Free Parking: Free parking is available outside the showroom. Turn onto Braithwaite Street and take an immediate left into the yard. Look for signage.
Accessibility: The event takes place on the first floor. Please note there is only stair access into the event.
