Leeds Pride: Sketching Queer History
Gather with Leeds Sanctuary and local artist and historian, Clifford Stead, for a Sketch Walk in honour of Leeds Pride. We’ll be learning about the activists who have made Leeds a safer place for LGBTQ+ people throughout history, and sketching key landmarks as we go.
The Walk will be in Leeds city centre (meeting point to be confirmed) at 5.30pm on Tuesday 14 July. No prior experience or knowledge of either history or sketching is required, and we’ll provide you with paper and a pencil!
