The festival is not just a celebration of beer but a significant contributor to charities and community projects championed by the Rotary Club of Roundhay both locally and internationally. Over the past eleven years it has a remarkable track record of success, having raised over £72,000. Among the beneficiaries are organizations such as John Jamieson School, Cash for Kids, CATCH Harehills, St Gemma’s, and Roundhay Stroke Club. These funds have made a meaningful difference in supporting worthy causes and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and communities in need.
The festival is made possible by the generous support of sponsors, including headline sponsors Morley Glass and Glazing and Express in the Home, as well as individual barrel sponsors.
As headline sponsor, Morley Glass & Glazing enjoys the chance to share in and engage with a great community event whilst helping good causes at the same time. Ian Short, Managing Director of Morley Glass says: “We were delighted to be able to sponsor the North Leeds Charity Beer Festival. This is exactly the type of initiative we like to be involved with as it perfectly reflects our ethos of giving back to local communities. I enjoy personally rolling up my sleeves and helping alongside the Rotarians and very much look forward to the event every year.”
Your participation in the beer festival not only promises a great time but also contributes to the greater good by supporting important charitable initiatives. Thank you for your continued support and generosity.
