Rothwell Temperance Band | Leeds Best of Brass 2023/2024
Rothwell Temperance Band is currently Leeds’ highest ranked brass band. With a band entirely comprising of volunteers, it has cemented itself as one of the finest bands in the competitive county of Yorkshire, and England as a whole. The current band, formed in the 1980s, has risen through the sections under experienced Musical Director, David Roberts. In 2022 the band had a very successful year and was delighted to win the Grand Shield for the third time. The band has recently welcomed some new faces including the double signing of percussionist Beth Carabine and soprano cornet player Phil Tait.
