The debut film from Love Lies Bleeding writer-director Rose Glass, Saint Maud is a chilling and boldly original vision of faith, madness and salvation in a fallen world.
Having recently found God, withdrawn young nurse Maud, (Morfydd Clark) arrives at a grand home to care for Amanda, (Jennifer Ehle) a hedonistic dancer left frail from a chronic illness. When a chance encounter with a former colleague throws up hints of a darker past, it becomes clear there is more to sweet Maud than meets the eye.
