Saturday Sew Social
Relaxed sewing mornings with support, conversation and creativity.
Join us at SCRAP for a series of creative community sewing events designed to help you make the most of your treasured fabric scraps.
Whether you’re a beginner, amending a project or a maker with a stash of beautiful leftover fabric, we’ve got a spot for you at the sewing table!
Our Saturday Sew Social is a relaxed sewing morning with support, conversation and creativity. No booking required, just drop in from 10am – 1pm or anytime in between.
Bring your mending pile, hand sewing or small projects and enjoy some mindful time with other stitchers.
Expert help is on hand if you get stuck from Emma Garry, who is an online pattern designer with a cute shop Eme Cloth & Yarn in Ilkley where for 11 years she has been selling her favourite fabrics, patterns and teaching people to sew and make their own clothes. Previously a graphic designer working with major brands her passion has always been textiles and prints.
Our café will be open serving hot and cold drinks and there will be the rest of SCRAP to explore.
10-12pm – £5 or PAYF
Any enquiries contact admin@scrapstuff.co.uk. Adults only.
