TNL: LCSU Big Band
We are the Leeds Conservatoire Student Union Big Band. Directed by Poppy Hughes and Elliot Scribot-Carter, this 22 piece Big Band presents both new and traditional big band styles. Featuring multiple soloists, plus vocalists, we perform works by Buddy Rich, Bob Mintzer, Bob Curnow, 8 Bit-Big Band, Gordon Goodwin and more!
We recently placed 2nd at The Great North Big Band Competition, as well as winning the award for Best Programme! We are really looking forward to reaching new audiences around Leeds representing the next generation of jazz musicians!
