The Mews Hotel
The Mews Hotel accommodation and restaurant is located in Ossett, between Wakefield and Dewsbury near Leeds in West Yorkshire, UK. Ideally situated just off the M1 motorway at junction 40, set in a charming mews courtyard the hotel has an intriguing past dating back to 1746. The courtyard wing of the hotel was originally a warehouse used for sorting rags, a very skilled local trade and now houses the fourteen tastefully furnished bedrooms which offer all the facilities expected by the guest today.
A very cosy free house bar serves traditional hand pulled ales and excellent bar meals in a welcoming and cosy retreat to wind down after a hard days work. A very popular and friendly public bar serving a range of traditional real ales and fine wines, available as you relax in front of our fire.
We have an exceptional and extremely popular restaurant area (booking a table is a must!). The chef offers an excellent menu combining both traditional English fayre and speciality dishes using only the freshest ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. A superb selection of fine wines and champagne is also on offer combined with charming surroundings make for a perfect dining experience.
The Mews Hotel boasts fourteen comfortable rooms ranging from luxurious superior doubles down to fabulous single rooms. All come with en-suite facilities, access to WiFi and a superb breakfast.
