The Bad Plus – Farewell Tour
After a twenty-five-year career as one of the most influential ensembles in modern jazz, The Bad Plus return to the Howard Assembly Room as part of their final world tour.
Founded in 2000, the group established a reputation for a fearless approach to composition, famously bridging the gap between original jazz works and an unconventional array of covers – spanning artists from Ornette Coleman to Aphex Twin and Nirvana. Founders Reid Anderson and Dave King continue to lead the group’s commitment to a wild and unpredictable sound, even eighteen albums into their career.
This 2026 Farewell Tour serves as a career-spanning celebration of the group’s spirit of innovation and their refusal to conform to the traditional boundaries of the genre.
