Bowling Bonanza
Test your bowling skills using replicas of the incredible Venn Bowling Machine!
World famous mathematician, John Venn – of Venn Diagram fame – created a historic cricket bowling machine, way back in the 1900s. In 2024, it was recreated by the team at The University of Cambridge, and it will now be making its first trip over to Leeds as part of the City of Maths!
The impressive reconstruction will be on display for a limited time in Leeds City Centre on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 June and we’re inviting members of the public to test their bowling skills by taking part in our bowling challenge, using a set of specially created mini Venn bowling machine replica models.
