Crafty in the Cloister
Join us for craft activities in the heart of the Abbey – the cloister, the central court of Kirkstall Abbey.
Every Thursday afternoon we’ll be inspried by new craft and colouring activities, reflecting on the nature in the abbey. We’ll be using a range of materials including lots of different bits of recycling and art materials. Suitable for all age ranges and abilities.
The Cloister
The central courtyard in the abbey served as a quiet area, surrounded by covered walkways to minimise noise and disruption. A quiet and meditative space for the Cistercian monks.
