A Taste of the 1940s – Wetherby Festival Event
The Hummingbirds UK are a Yorkshire-based, vintage-inspired vocal harmony trio bringing the timeless sounds of the 1920s through to the 1950s to life.
With stunning three-part harmonies, elegant vintage styling and sparkling personalities, the girls transport audiences straight back to the golden age of music and glamour. From Gatsby glamour and wartime classics to swing, jazz and feel-good favourites, every performance is packed with nostalgia, charm and toe-tapping energy.
Complete with victory rolls, retro red lips and beautifully styled vintage costumes, The Hummingbirds UK create an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages — perfect for theatres, weddings, vintage events, festivals and special occasions.
The group first took flight in October 2015, when Kim teamed up with two fellow performers to sing beloved 1940s classics. What began as a shared love of vintage music quickly blossomed into a professional act that has continued to grow ever since. Today, the Hummingbirds family includes six talented performers who all share a passion for close harmony singing and bringing the magic of a bygone era to the stage.
