Camelot: The Moor – A Reading

For 10 years, across theatre and film, Slung Low have created a unique saga.
The story of a young woman, who calls herself Bear, and the new nation she built.
Bear, who said she saw visions. Who said to go forward we must go back. Who led a revolution and changed the world.
This is how the story ends.

Slung Low and Leeds People’s Theatre present a special rehearsed reading of a new people’s theatre play Camelot: The Moor, written by James Phillips. The play takes place in the world first created in Camelot: The Shining City, which premiered at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield in 2015. Together with members of Leeds People’s Theatre we transferred from stage to screen with The Good Book (2020) and The Magician (2023).

Join us this month to hear a company of Leeds People’s Theatre members and guest artists perform a script-in-hand reading of this epic new play at our Warehouse in Holbeck. To be part of the audience please book tickets below.
