LGBTQ+ foraging walk and social event
Join Angels of Freedom and friends on Sunday 31 May (from 11am) for the next event in the wellbeing series funded by Being You Leeds. We’re hosting a LGBTQ+ foraging walk at Meanwood Park followed by a social at Meanwood Institute (LS6 4LD).
Meet outside the Three Cottages cafe (next to the car park – LS6 4LE) from 10:45am ready for an 11am start time – Elliot Nicholls (IG – @foragingagainstthemachine) will lead you on a foraging walk through Meanwood Park where you will be able to learn more about foraging generally as well as what is seasonally available. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours (there may be some uneven elements to the route, if you have any accessibility questions please let us know).
After the walk we’ll head to Meanwood Institute for a LGBTQ+ foraging social from around 12:30pm – a chance to connect with like-minded members of the community and speak to Elliot if you have anything you would like to know more about things linked to foraging.
Refreshments will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
