Leeds Young Film Festival: Screendance Short Films
Leeds Young Film Festival presents a handpicked selection of short films celebrating dance and movement.
Join Leeds Young Film for a special look at physical storytelling through a programme of short films suitable for young people and families. The selection includes real-life stories from performers, magical animations, and films where movement alone brings each story to life.
Before the film, join dancer Holly Gibbs for a fun and interactive intro and get a behind-the-scenes look at how TikTok dance trends, music videos and dance films are made. Stay at the end of the screening to hear more from Holly and ask her any questions you might have about the world of dance. Part of the LYFF Cine-Takeover at HPPH, for Leeds Young Film Festival 2026.
