Reel-ise
Lights, camera, action!
Leeds Industrial Museum’s new community-curated exhibition for 2025 explores the untold and sometimes concealed stories of women, people of colour and queer people who helped shape Leeds’ rich film heritage.
The show looks at the culture of filmmaking within the context of the city, with a particular focus on inspiring local filmmakers, producers and cinemas, as well as visits by famous faces to Leeds!
This display is produced by community volunteers.
