An Exciting New Exhibition For The Sculpture Gallery
Come and discover the Gallery’s April exhibition, launching on Monday 6th April and continuing until Thursday 30th April. This month also marks The Sculpture Gallery’s 4th anniversary.
We present two Guest Artists at this exhibition, and we are very pleased to welcome two exceptional artists – Damon Price and Helaina Sharpley – to help us mark this milestone.
Damon Price is a sculptor based in Holmfirth on the edge of the Pennine hills. Open moorland and wildlife influence many of his pieces. Damon works primarily in bronze, using the traditional lost-wax casting technique. Helaina Sharpley is an award-winning wirework artist, working from her studio at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop in Mirfield. She creates intricate and elegant wirework wall pieces that blur the boundaries between drawing and sculpture.
Enjoy the Exhibition and help us to celebrate the Gallery’s continued success.
