Local Legends: Gargoyle Casting with Liv Preston
Take inspiration from Henry Moore Institute’s current exhibition Phantasmagoria, local legends and historic landmarks, with the guidance of artist Liv Preston to create your very own gargoyle.
In this hands-on family workshop, you’ll sculpt and cast a unique gargoyle head, bringing mythical creatures and local stories to life in 3D.
Perfect for curious creators of all ages! Come discover the monsters, myths and the intricate processes of casting, then take home a legendary gargoyle of your own.
This workshop is designed for families with children aged 5+. Creativity has no age limit, so adults are encouraged to make too!
Tickets for this workshop are free, but please book in advance as places are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
