Plaits and Play
Plaits & Play is a free family workshop created to build confidence, connection and creativity between dads, carers and children through the art of hair styling.
Hosted by This is Yorkshire Beauty and Leeds Dads as part of the official Yorkshire celebrations for British Beauty Week, the workshop responds to this year’s theme of impact by celebrating the powerful role beauty can play in everyday family life.
The hands-on sessions held on Saturday 17th October at Leeds Museum, are designed to give dads and carers the practical skills, confidence and encouragement to care for and style their children’s hair at home. From simple plaits to everyday hair care tips, all hair types will be welcomed, catered for and celebrated.
The free workshop will begin with a live demonstration, sharing easy styling ideas. Each dad can bring one child for free.
The sessions are 60 minutes long and are taking place throughout the day, bookable via the link.
