Bean Planting
This friendly drop-in session offers children and adults the chance to learn how to plant bean seeds whilst enjoying time together outdoors in the wonderful Temple Newsam Walled Garden.
With guidance from members of our gardening team, you’ll discover how to prepare soil, sow seeds and care for your plants.
All seeds, tools and materials are provided, so there’s no need to bring anything except yourselves, some enthusiasm and suitable outdoor clothing.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or trying planting for the first time, this is a great opportunity to spend quality time outdoors, meet other families, and help bring your own little patch of paradise to life.
This is a FREE activity and booking is not required.
