Ascension Dance: Early Weaves
Early Weaves is a wonderful, non-verbal introduction to dance theatre for early years children. A heart-warming tale of friendship, curiosity and play.
Two friends embark on a journey of connection and companionship using fabulously flexible willow, a fully compostable, carbon-sink material. Watch Willow and Weave as they use the versatile willow to inspire each other and dive deep into their sense of imagination. They explore sound and movement, creating magic and laughter, and invite the audience in to play.
See the possibilities they discover with a little bit of creativity. It’s willow but maybe it is something else, what can you make and how can this spark a new adventure for you!
The performance is followed by a 15-minutes stay-and-play where the audience can get involved and join in the fun.
