Bring Your Own Baby Screening: Wicker (15)
A heartwarming fantasy starring Olivia Colman as a fisherwoman who feels out of place in her small village. When she jokingly asks for a husband made from wicker, her unusual wish unexpectedly comes to life, setting in motion a charming tale of acceptance and community. Filled with whimsical characters, gentle humour and a touch of magic, Wicker offers an uplifting and imaginative escape for parents and carers.
Following the screening, to celebrate Baby Week, we will be joined by midwives from Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for Meet the Midwives drop-in sessions before and after the screening, offering advice, support and practical guidance for expectant and new families. Plus, our friends at Child Friendly Leeds will also be providing complimentary snacks and treats for anyone who would like to stay after the screening, chat with fellow parents and carers, and build connections within the local community.
