Otley Chamber Orchestra At Bridge Street Chapel Hall
Join the Otley Chamber Orchestra for their annual concert in the Bridge Street Chapel Hall, conducted once again by Ben Frampton.
For over fifteen years this has been a keenly anticipated event in Otley’s music calendar, featuring many players from the local area. A key reason for the orchestra’s appeal is its focus on programmes that are enjoyable to play and attractive to audiences of classical music.
The main work will be Haydn’s Symphony 101, The Clock, the ninth of his twelve London Symphonies. Known for its ticking rhythm in the slow movement, it caused a sensation at its premiere and remains celebrated for its balance, power, and sophistication.
