Dave Rowntree Of Blur: No One You Know
Dave Rowntree, drummer of one of Britain’s biggest bands, takes audiences behind the scenes of Blur’s early years, with unseen photos he took himself. From studio sessions to chaotic tour buses and Blur’s first trips to America and Japan.
Dave joined Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon in Colchester in the late ’80s. With Alex James completing the lineup, Blur helped define Britpop, selling millions of records, winning five BRITs, and in 2023, selling out Wembley Stadium twice.
Beyond Blur, Dave has had a varied career: founding a computer animation company, working as a solicitor and standing as a Labour Party candidate.
No One You Know is his debut photography book, a fly-on-the-wall glimpse into Blur’s earliest years through the eyes of their drummer.
